The Rodeph Sholom community joined 35 other New York communities to host Israeli civilian defenders and their families by opening their homes to provide a space for healing and connection.
This is a great opportunity to promote critical thinking and curiosity about current events and demonstrate to students how their voices can have an important impact on shaping the future.
We are lucky at Rodeph Sholom School to have such easy access to Central Park, and many classes take advantage of this opportunity numerous times throughout the year.
Given everything happening, this mom realized how important it was to give her kids a Jewish education and be part of a community of shared Jewish values.
We are excited to introduce Makor, a new parallel Jewish studies program option for Rodeph Sholom School students entering 3rd – 8th Grade.
After the attacks on October 7th, the Rodeph Sholom community quickly mobilized to support one another and those abroad in myriad ways.
