Tuition Rates

Tuition at Rodeph Sholom School covers the cost of materials, fees, and insurance, as well as lunch for students in 1st through 8th Grades. All families entering Rodeph Sholom School also become members of Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Membership dues include High Holiday seats and participation in all congregational events and programs.

Tuition Assistance

Rodeph Sholom School is committed to helping families afford a Reform Jewish Day School education for their children and to building a diverse geographic and socioeconomic student body. We are proud of our strong Tuition Assistance program that awards support based upon the level of need and availability of funds. All families interested in the special qualities and character of education offered at the school are encouraged to apply. This year, Rodeph Sholom School is proud to be able to award Tuition Assistance to over 30% of the students in the school.

Families who would like to apply for Tuition Assistance should complete an application for Tuition Assistance for the 2024-2025 academic year beginning on October 15, 2023. More information to follow. Please be in touch with any questions.

All applicants for Tuition Assistance must complete their Tuition Assistance application through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management.

Middle School Scholars Program

Rodeph Sholom School’s Middle School Scholars Program is for students entering 5th or 6th Grade who demonstrate strong academic promise and outstanding character. The program, supported by Friends of Rodeph Sholom School, aims to serve children currently in public school who would benefit from our outstanding independent school education rooted in Jewish values.

Rodeph Sholom School’s Middle School program prepares students to become purpose-driven leaders and thrive in a wide variety of outstanding independent and public high schools.

Students named Middle School Scholars will be awarded annual grants ranging from $20,000 to $35,000 to be used toward tuition. These grants will be guaranteed through the completion of 8th Grade. Please contact the Enrollment Office (admissions@rssnyc.org) for more information.

Jewish Professionals Scholarship Program

Rodeph Sholom School’s  Jewish Professionals Scholarship Program is for families in which at least one parent works in a Jewish non-profit organization in the New York metropolitan area. This program aims to serve the greater Jewish community by allowing families who are professionally dedicated to Jewish causes greater access to a Rodeph Sholom School education.

This program, supported by Friends of Rodeph Sholom School, aims to serve families with students entering Pre-K and above who would benefit from an outstanding independent school education rooted in Jewish values. The Rodeph Sholom School prepares students to become purpose-driven leaders in their communities now and in the future.

Families who enter Rodeph Sholom School under the Jewish Professionals Scholarship Program will be awarded annual grants ranging from $10,000 to $35,000 per student to be used toward tuition. These grants, available to cover some of tuition costs for students in Pre-K and above, will be guaranteed through the completion of 8th Grade contingent that the family member remains in their role in a professional Jewish non-profit organization.
