Targeted philanthropic investments help our community thrive by sustaining essential programs and enabling transformative initiatives that shape our future. Below is a selection of active donor-funded initiatives that strengthen specific aspects of the Rodeph Sholom School experience and the community as a whole.

Schechter Manhattan Partnership Fund

Established in 2024 for the purpose of expanding Jewish Studies offerings, supporting Schechter Manhattan families transitioning to Rodeph Sholom School, deepening academic and faculty capacity, and investing in outreach to families seeking a values-based Jewish education.

The Day Family Scholarship Fund

Established in 2018 as an endowment fund to provide need-based tuition assistance to Rodeph Sholom School students in perpetuity.

The Rosalind Blum Schulman Reading Library Fund

Established in 2023 through a bequest from Susan Schulman, daughter of Rosalind Blum Schulman, the fund supports the operations of the Early Childhood Library. Rosalind, a noted child psychologist and longtime member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom, was instrumental in creating the Rodeph Sholom Nursery School and later Rodeph Sholom School, where she volunteered as school psychologist for many years.
