Rodeph Sholom School Parents Association
About the Parents Association
At the heart of a strong school community is an active Parent Association (PA) that enhances the school’s programming by fostering meaningful connections. We are fortunate to have an exceptional PA at Rodeph Sholom School, led by a dedicated Executive Board.
The PA supports the school by building community and organizing various events throughout the school year. Some of these events include a Book Fair, an Ice Skating Party, weekly Challah delivery, Shabbat experiences, and Family Service Days, among others.
To facilitate these events, the PA actively encourages family involvement through regular volunteering, which is a wonderful way to make friends and stay connected to both the school and your children’s education.
The PA is an all-volunteer organization. In addition to supporting events, it serves as an informational resource and a communication link between parents and the school administration.
Parent Grade Coordinators (PGCs) play a crucial role in the school’s community life. Representing the PA, they act as a resource for parents and help to foster a sense of belonging within each grade. Each grade has one volunteer PGC who serves as a liaison between the PA Executive Board and the school. The responsibilities of PGCs include providing parents with information about School and PA events and participating in, as well as recruiting volunteers for, various PA events throughout the year.
