Ruth Servi

Ruth was born and raised in the Jewish community of Florence, Italy, and completed her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Jewish History and Education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has lived and taught in New York City for the past 24 years while raising her sons in Washington Heights, bringing extensive experience as a classroom teacher, department chair, and director of Jewish Studies. Ruth has been a fellow in several prestigious programs, including the Legacy Heritage education fellowship, Matach Hebrew Language acquisition, Israel Education projects, and Partnerships of Pedagogy at Hadar. Her international background and deep expertise in Jewish education contribute to her comprehensive approach to teaching and curriculum development. Ruth enjoys walking in the city and traveling the world, and is excited to be a part of the Rodeph Sholom School team.
