Barry joined the Rodeph Sholom School Jewish studies team in 2024. After completing the joint degree program between the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University, he made aliyah, joining the Israel Defense Forces and serving in the Iron Dome unit. Barry participated in the Pardes Day School Educator’s program and received a Master of Jewish Education from Hebrew College in Boston. He was ordained by Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, where he studied for four years. What excites him most about Rodeph Sholom School is bringing a love of Judaism, the Jewish people, and Israel to the community. When not at school, he loves spending time with his wife and young son, enjoying all that New York City has to offer.
