Melissa Rosen

Melissa joined Rodeph Sholom School in 2008, bringing with her a rich educational background that includes a Master’s Degree in school psychology from Touro College and an undergraduate degree in psychology and business from Indiana University. As a dual-certified school psychologist in both New York and New Jersey, her training and expertise in working with students of different ages and needs bring a special warmth, understanding, and passion to the school’s programming. Over the past 15 years, Rodeph Sholom School has become like a second home to Melissa, offering her opportunities for professional growth while allowing her to pursue what she loves most: education. In her role as Head Teacher and previous Director of Summer Camp for many years, she has created wonderful experiences and lasting memories for hundreds of children and their families. What Melissa treasures most about Rodeph Sholom School is its unique community of staff, clergy, and families that sets it apart from any other institution. Outside of her professional life, Melissa enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and draws from her background as both a competitive ice skater and coach.
