Dr. Lisa Brown has served as the Twos through 3rd Grade psychologist at Rodeph Sholom School since 2005. She provides counsel and consultation to students, parents, and teachers; leads groups with students addressing a range of issues; gives talks and workshops to faculty and parents; and is involved in the social-emotional work done in the Early Childhood and Elementary Divisions. She also provides outside psychotherapy referrals when indicated and in response to parent inquiries. Dr. Brown has a doctorate in clinical psychology and has worked in the field for over 25 years. In addition to her work at Rodeph Sholom School, she maintains a private practice where she works with children, adolescents, and adults. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and spending time in Central Park.
