Katie was a substitute teacher at Rodeph Sholom School for several years, and before that, was a substitute at numerous independent schools in Virginia and New York before joining the team full-time in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance with a minor in education from UC-Irvine and a master’s degree in education.
