After teaching Hebrew and Judaic Studies to students in Orlando, Florida, Karen moved to New York City to pursue graduate studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has been working with young children and their families as an educator for the past 24 years. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and a Master of Education in International Educational Development from Teachers College. When she’s not in the classroom, Karen loves strong coffee, a good story, and spending time with her children and supportive partner.
