Equem graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Prior to joining Rodeph Sholom School in 2024, she worked as a nanny in the Netherlands, where she is fluent in Dutch, and as a classroom support teacher at SAR Academy. Equem has trained as a dancer, psychology research assistant, and equestrian therapist. A native Upper West Sider, she is excited to be a part of the team.
