While Rodeph Sholom School offers a superior education to our students, we also provide many opportunities for our parents to learn and grow within our community. Through programming that is integrated with our curriculum, special guest lectures, Division Head coffees, grade specific discussions and much more, RSS is excited to help educate our parents they grow with their children. There are many opportunities throughout the year for parents to learn more about the issues that are most important to them and their children.
Parent Lecture Series:
3-5 times during the year, the RSS Parents Association invites guest lecturers to discuss “hot topics” that are important to parents and the community. Recent lectures have dealt with online safety, self-esteem and bullying.
Once a year, the programming around a guest lecturer is integrated within the curriculum allowing students, faculty and parents to learn about a specific topic and how it relates to them. This integration helps facilitate communication within the entire RSS community.
