RSS believes that your involvement in school life is an essential part of educating our students. We work hard to create special moments for parents, extended family, parents of alumni, and our alumni to engage with the entire community.
2nd Annual Celebrate RSS
Rodeph Sholom School is proud to host an all school welcome back event for parents and faculty. In its second year, the highlight of the night was a screening of the Class of 2015’s graduation video. A retrospective from last year’s 8th graders about all things RSS, and why their education at Rodeph Sholom School helped them become who they are today. A moving piece, it was met with much applause - and a few tears! - from parents and teachers alike. Please watch the video above and take part in celebrating RSS with us!
Current parents and faculty, don't forget to mark your calendar for Celebrate RSS on Wednesday, September 13, 2017!
Extended Family Events
RSS extends a big, warm community welcome to grandparents and special friends at several events on campus each year. Currently, our extended family programs include events and receptions for grandparents of students in Threes through 4th Grade. A few weeks in advance of the event for each grade, the school sends invitations directly to the grandparents, extended family member or special friend for whom we have contact information on record. In order for us to keep in touch, please contact Sarah Schimmel, Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing, to update your grandparent and extended family information as needed. Additional events are added periodically throughout the year by invitation. Contact Sarah Schimmel for more information.
Located in New York City, Rodeph Sholom School is a coeducational nursery through eighth grade Reform Jewish independent school.
