Congregation Rodeph Sholom
Rodeph Sholom School is affiliated with Congregation Rodeph Sholom, one of the oldest and largest Reform synagogues in New York City. All families who have children enrolled at Rodeph Sholom School (RSS) are required to also become members of Congregation Rodeph Sholom (CRS). Parents and students of all ages have opportunities to become involved with the temple community throughout the year.
Some of the opportunities that CRS offers include:

For Families:
Sing Along Shabbat for ages 0-5
Shabbat B’Yachad for ages 0-7
Shabbat B’shir on the 2nd Friday of every month – 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Junior Congregation for ages 8-12
PJ Library – The PJ Library program offers free, high-quality Jewish books and music every month to Jewish families with children ages 6 months to 7 years old. Signing up is easy! Start your subscription and receive the CRS e-newsletter by enrolling online.
PJ and Play: CRS hosts a story time featuring PJ Library books for children ages 2-5 on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Pizza and play follow story time on our indoor playground.

For Parents:
How to Raise a Mentsch, hosted by Rabbi Ben Spratt, is held several times throughout the year. It’s a parents’ discussion group about raising Jewish kids.
Adult Education: CRS offers a wide range of adult education classes designed to meet the needs of everyone in our community.

For Students:
CRuSTY (Congregation Rodeph uh Sholom Temple Youth) is the CRS Youth Engagement program that provides opportunities for students in 2nd through 8th grades to participate in the life of the temple. For more information about CRuSTY please visit their website.
