High School Placement

Rodeph Sholom School graduates attend some of the finest independent and public schools in New York City and beyond. We take pride in our ability to prepare our students for the academic and social challenges of high school, and make every effort to ensure that they are placed in schools where they will continue to grow and flourish.

The placement process begins with an informational meeting in the spring of Seventh Grade and lasts until all RSS families submit a formal acceptance letter to the admitting high schools. Parents receive constant guidance from the Head of the Middle School and our Placement Coordinator, who know the students and schools extremely well. When acceptance letters start arriving, we help parents and students select the school that is the best match for each individual.
